HOIAN LEGENDARY NIGHT Or ANCIENT TOWN NIGHT - Post date: 09/09/2008 HOIAN LEGENDARY NIGHT Or ANCIENT TOWN NIGHT A really unique and enchanting festival in historic Hoian, celebrated on every 14 th of Lunar months. From 7:00 pm, the whole Ancient city is lit by various kinds of multi-colored lanterns; neon & electric lights are being turned off; vehicle of all kinds are banned; streets are reserved for walkers only. Visitors to this festival have a best chance to freely & comfortably walk in the ancient area enjoying traditional musical performance, traditional Vietnamese Opera, traditional games... MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL - Post date: 14/10/2007 MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL Celebrated on 14 & 15 August Lunar Calendar, Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important festivals in Vietnam. The festival is a time for people to show their appreciation to Mr. Moon & to enjoy the Moon-cakes. During the festival, children beat drums & join in the lion dance or unicorn dance.
